Disney dominates worldwide box office

 The Avengers: Age of Ultron came in on top of the worldwide box office report, earning $66.7 million dollars.

Having grossed $860 million dollars, which includes $210 million in China, which is significant since it just recently opened there on May 12, according to Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

Warner Bros. Mad Max: Fury Road was a close second, earning $62.1 million dollars having crossed the $100 million dollar mark during the weeks, says Dergarabedian. 

Although in third position with $58.9 million, Disney's ‘Tomorrowland' has produced disappointing results on home turf, for the US box office saw its most sluggish performance over the Memorial Day holiday weekend since 2001.
